Hassells and New Sims deal January 2011
The
largest scrap metal processing company in the world - Sims Metal
Management have recently started to take delivery of 20+ Sennebogen
rehandlers that are being supplied by E H Hassell and Sons Ltd.
After detailed discussion the “Sims scrap metal specification” was
agreed upon – a Sennebogen 830M material handler complete with 17
metres of reach, 800 litre five tyne grab, and numerous “industry
leading” safety systems.
Sims Metal Management will be putting these Sennebogen rehandlers to
work around its multiple UK operations, following on from the
success of the Sennebogen rehandlers in Sims’ other operations
around the world - mainly in North America and Australia.
Managing Director of E H Hassell & Sons Ian Hassell said: “By
working together with Sennebogen we were able to put forward a
package that exceeded Sims’ requirements. Our company has been
servicing and supplying specialist equipment for over 35 years, and
see our new relationship with Sims Metal Management as the next
stage in the company’s continual growth.”
